For folks with outdoor weddings, are you doing anything about sunscreen? Will you be handing it out to guests, or being extra careful with it before your wedding day?

What are your favorite brands of sunscreen? Can you recommend anything that doesn't have too much of a smell?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Also, I wanted to share a (horror) story with you guys. A week ago, on the night of my wedding reception, I lost the diamond in my engagement ring. Most people would totally freak out, but I worked in jewelry stores long enough to know the protocol and know that it would be okay and it wouldn't cost me anything. I wrote a long post about this here. Basically it goes over some things you should know about jewelers, insurance, and protecting yourself.

Renting a wedding dress

Is anyone here renting a gown instead of buying one? Or do you have strong feelings against renting your dress? I'm running a poll at AisleDash and I'd like to write a follow-up article there once I have some more votes and opinions. You can vote here.

Also, does anyone have experience renting a gown? Were you able to get alterations? Do you know how much you saved? Can anyone recommend a good dress rental company?

So far in the survey, the majority of people say they would prefer to save money and rent a gown rather than buy one, yet you almost never hear of people actually doing it. Did anyone here think about it, but then you were unable to find a place that would rent a gown?

I'd really appreciate any feedback! Thanks!
